Do I Need HDMI on my Laptop?
I like to upgrade my laptop computer every year. It does not cost as much as you think. Why? Because I sell last year’s model at about $200 less than I paid and this year’s model normally cost a little less.
Thus, for about $100 or $200, I get a new laptop every year.
This year I am concentrating on laptops that have HDMI. Have a look here if you want to know what does HDMI stand for and find out more about the technology.
Essentially, you need an HDMI interface on your laptop to connect with new devices like LCD TVs as I previously wrote about. As Olga says in New Laptop and HDMI, the beauty of HDMI is that it carries BOTH the audio and video signal which allows you to simply use one cable to connect your PC to your TV.
This is a great thing if you want to view your computer output on the TV which I have done and want to continue to do.
Thus, the answer to the question of the post is, Yes, absolutely, you need HDMI on your laptop if you want to be prepared for the future of technology!
