The Superbowl Betting Pool

The Superbowl is one of my favorite days of the year and it comes this weekend.  I could not be more excited and neither could 75% of America.  The other 25% are houswives who don’t like football

So, we are doing a work poll about who will win the Superbowl and I have to make my picks which will hopefull make me some money.  The pool is $50 dollars to get in but it’s fun and worth the cost of admission.  Plus, the winner gets over $2,000. 

That said, I can pick bigger point spreads and get more squares in the pool for my $50.  So, even though I think that the Superbowl might be close, I am going with some long shots. 

Jim, who sits right next to me, tells me that this is a stupid strategy.  We all have to be at the office on Sunday for a technical migration so Jim is researching how to watch the Superbowl online right now so that we can see the Superbowl live on our computers.

And, we’ll have a big pot of cash next to us which someone will take home.  I hope that it is me because $2,000 is nothing to sneeze at.

Thus, I am going Packers as a long shot and I get three squares on the board!
